HIGHER MORWELL GARDEN DIARY
16th October 2016
The wildflower patch is seeded and all we can do is
wait and see if it looks better in 2017. All the helpful
hints and tips say to regard this as a two year project
so… 2018 for the decision on good or not.
Leaves now take over. Lesley has been diligent with
her new besom but the scale of the problem means
we will almost certainly have to look at more
mechanisation. Elsewhere the outside runner beans
haven’t really flourished so have been cut down.
What to do with the
gunpowder store.
Well a new idea is
after replacing the
roof and making it
watertight, to create
a wide doorway at
this end and use it for
storing the
mechanised garden
tools we are
amassing. And we
need more dry space
for logs. Another
project looms!
