Higher Morwell Wildflowers
Past Years
The wildflower patch was started in Autumn 2015 when an unmowed area in the north-east
corner was cleared and seeded with mixed wildflowers. Some were successful and grew the
following year, many didn’t. Since then we have tried different methods of clearing, and
generally added more specific seed varieties each year to try and achieve the balance we
want. Below are flowers we have identified from 2018 onwards, both in the wildflower
patch itself and occasionally elsewhere in the garden.
