HIGHER MORWELL AVENUE PROJECT
We plan a paved
walkway from the
standing stone to the
site of the pond.
Two trees have been
transplanted from the
overcrowded bed beside
the polytunnel and
mostly rehoused shrubs
put between them.
The path will be the house side of the trees and shrubs and will
be linked to the top of the steps that lead up from the path at
ground level at the back of the house.
The two trees, an amelanchier and an unidentified prunus
variety, have taken well to their rather brighter surroundings
although they have to now cope with more wind as this is an
exposed area.
The GWR railway bench will be placed at the pond end of the
path so we can watch the frogs in comfort!
